Staying home makes exercise more challenging and food has been one of our easiest outlets for soothing and entertaining ourselves.

So many people from the Potentials Wellness community have reached out wanting support for losing weight, feeling healthier and managing their eating habits at home. We have been listening and created we have created a unique program that integrates the gentle and nourishing wisdom of East Asian medicine with contemporary research about how to best support the body in weight loss. This Holistic Weight Loss Program Offers an Individualized Approach to Adjusting Diet, Lifestyle and Exercise

This program starts with us listening to you. What are you eating now? What are your challenging foods and cravings? What activities do you like to do? Do you like or hate to cook? We take a look at your elemental constitution and explore if there might be any deeper root causes for your weight gain like high cortisol levels from excessive stress, unstable blood sugar, low thyroid levels or hormonal imbalances. Once we get to know you and your challenges, we work with you to put together an individualized plan that includes shopping and meal planning, lifestyle  modification and exercise. We provide continued support through the course of the program via weekly group calls, one on one video check ins and email support. In addition, if you are in the local Portland area, there is the option to come to the clinic for acupuncture to support you as well.
