This ongoing hybrid yoga class focuses on the the integration of yoga as a tool for a healthier life. 

The current theme for fall 2025 is "Integrated Somatic & Yoga Practice for Body Awareness, Release & Renewal". 

This 10-week hybrid class weaves together gentle yoga and somatic movement techniques designed to help you deepen body awareness, release chronic holding patterns, and move with more ease and resilience.

Each session invites you to listen inward, explore mindful movement, and cultivate alignment.

If your body is feeling tight, recovering from injury or illness, or simply seeking more connection and ease, this practice can be a gentle tool for supporting your health.

Designed to aid in stress management and to be a vehicle for self exploration, this work is subtle yet transformative. 

You’ll discover how yoga asana and somatic release practices can complement each other: the softness of somatic work opens access to deeper, more fluid postures, and the strength of yoga supports stabilization and integration.

This class is ideal for students at all levels — from those recovering from injury or chronic tension to more seasoned practitioners seeking a fresh lens on embodied movement.

This class provides personalized guidance in real time, allowing students to ask questions and receive tailored modifications for their practice—whether live or through the course portal.

Additionally, you’ll find bonus videos offering practical insights on customizing poses for your body and goals.

Class Details:

  • This is an ongoing class. You can register to join at anytime or unenroll at anytime (payment for class is monthly with a 10 day free trial period).
  • Live video based classes happen on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 to 10:15/ 10:30. This themed session runs from October 15th until December 17th 2025.
  • Each class is stored in a video archive that is accessible to students to watch on demand. 
  • Each quarter, a new topic is explored in depth.
  • In addition to recordings of the current quarter, students have access to previous recordings with topics ranging from yoga for joint health and yoga for pain to yoga for balance, posture and relaxation. 
  • There are additional bonus videos in the class archive that support students in making personal modifications to poses. 
  • Students have the opportunity to ask questions and receive personal modification of their practice in live class and also through the class portal. 

This class is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners and includes asana work (yoga posses), pranayama (breathing practices) and guided mindfulness techniques.
